Internship Instructions
The internship activity is carried out during the third year of the course. In order to carry out the internship, the student meeting the requirements of the Regulations can request and wait for the assignment, as specified below:
Request
The request to carry out internship activities can be made according to a scheduled timetable. This requires:
complete the form/application downloadable from the Graduation’s Course – Forms section website, in which you have to indicate the passed exams, with votes and credits, and any preferences on didactic areas where to practice the internship activities; the application will be submitted to: tirocinio.biotecnologie@unina.it.
Assignment and start of the activity
The list of students, with the name of the tutor or the institution identified for conducting the internship, is published on the Graduation Course website. To start the activity the student must:
- stipulate an agreement upon modes and timing of the internship with the tutor ing teacher and follow the rules established by the University Federico II, in particular by filling out the form for the "Training and Orientation Project for Internship Activities", downloadable from the web-site, before starting Internship activities;
- fill "Training and Orientation Project” in three copies, signed by the student and the tutor and stamped the host structure, and deliver it to Ms. Angela Canzio, angela.canzio@unina.it (081 678 103). The three copies must be approved by the Graduation Course responsible;
- get two copies of the “Training Project”, signed by the Graduation Course responsible, and provide a copy to keep for themselves and the other to deliver to the tutor teacher.
The tutor is responsible for the student’s internship activities and looks after the introduction of the student to the access and attendance modes of the host structure’s places, with special regard to the regulations in terms of prevention and safety.
Carrying out
The completion of the above described procedure will allow the student to begin the internship, strictly conforming to the rules of the host structure. The internship will be daily reported on the Internship Booklet, in the manner specified in the regulation of Graduation Course. The booklet is signed by the student and the tutor teacher.
Conclusion of the Internship Activity
At the end of the internship, the student will have to deliver the Internship Booklet to the Students’ Administrative Office of the Graduation Course, for the registration of the related acquired credits (CFU).

For the allocation, the conduct and the conclusion of the internship activities and to access to the graduation test you will need the following documents:

Final Graduation Exam
To be admitted to the final examination, students will have to deliver to the Students’ Administrative Office:
- a graduation application submitted to the Rector and the request to issue parchment submitted to the Rector in unique stamp paper;
- a copy of the thesis signed by the supervisor and stamped by the belonging structure;
- Biotec/1 form containing the request for admission to the final examination.
In addition, students should deliver the Biotec/2 form to the specific collection point of the Graduation course.
The student, on the day of the discussion of the final examination, will have to deliver 2 bound copies of the elaborate to the Commission, signed by the supervisor.
